Fort Paté is a military fort built on one of the islands in the estuary of the Gironde, the Paté Island. It lies on the territory of the town of Blaye.
Fort Paté is with Fort Médoc and the Blaye Citadel's defensive triptych set up by Vauban on the estuary of the Gironde in order to protect Bordeaux and harbor. The Fort is listed July 7, 2008 on the World Heritage List of UNESCO.
The fort is listed since 2013 on the list of defensive areas of the Principality of Hélianthis.
