The Federal Republic of Rasshua (Russian: Федеративная Республика Расшуа) was a micronation based in Rasshua Island, an island situated in Kuril Islands. Rasshua was a member of the Organization of Asian Micronations and of the United Micronations. Rasshua is now defunct
Etymology
The name Rasshua derived from the Ainu language for “fur coat”.
History
On 14 November 2014, President Lev Savhua and the Parliament of the Federal Republic of Rasshua declared the independence of Rasshua. On the same day, the Federal Republic of Rasshua was accepted as a member of the Organization of Asian Micronations and of the United Micronations, and signed a treaty of mutual recognition and diplomatic relationships with the United States of Antarctica and with the People's Republic of Hashima.
On 19 November 2014, a group of scientists said that a catastrophic event could take place at the volcano situated on the island, and after an emergency reunion of the Parliament with the President of the Federal Republic, and the two other citizens, and declared that it more dangerous to try to settle down in Rasshua, and voted for an immediate evacuation of Rasshua. This event led consequently to the collapse and end of the Federal Republic of Rasshua.
On 3 March 2005, Rasshua merged with Devon Island, Kadykčan,Mednyj Island and the Principality of Pripyat, to create the Great Empire of Dikameppra.
Geography
Rasshua is roughly oval, with a length of 9.6 miles (15.5 kilometres), a width of 4 miles (6.5 kilometres) and an area of 24.4 miles (63.2 kilometres).
The island is a complex stratovolcano with three overlapping central cones within a 6 kilometer caldera, whose eastern margin is beyond the shoreline. The island has five small freshwater lakes, and numerous hot springs.
Rasshua Peak (Russian: влк. Расшуа), in the west of the island, is the island’s highest point at 3,136 feet (956 metres). The peak has not erupted in historic times, although it emits quantities of volcanic gas and its sides are streaked with sulfur deposits.
The easternmost cone (Russian: гора Циото), with a height of 1,650 feet (503 metres),violently erupted in 1846. The only other known historical eruption produced weak explosions in 1957. Active fulmaroles are found in the eastern crater and in the saddle between the two summit cones. There was a mild eruption on 6 February 2013
Climate
Weather in the Federal Republic of Rasshua was caratherized by winters with temperatures that hardly dropped below -5 °C -6 °C, and fresh summers, with temperature that hardly exceeded 11 °C - 12 °C.

Transports
There weren’t any streets in Rasshua, neither were there any airports. To arrive into the Federal Republic of Rasshua by sea, one must have had to board ferry boat from the Russian city of Petropavlovsk.
Economy
The economy of the Federal Republic of Rasshua was managed by the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development. The Rasshua Bank (Russian: Расшуа Бaнk) was responsible for the emission of the national currency, called the Rasshua Ruble’ (Russian: Расшуа рубль). The Governor of the Rasshua Bank was Losef Zimin. A law of Rasshua prohibited from salaries reaching over 1,000 Rasshua Rubles per month.
Politics
Within the People's Republic of Hashima, the Parliament of the Federal Republic of Rasshua represented the government of Rasshua. The Government of Rasshua only had one branch, called the Rasshua Assembly (Russian: Расшуа Ассамблея), formed by the 10 ministers and the first minister. Citizens of Rasshua were able to join the Rasshua Assembly and discuss topics and issues with the various ministers and propose new laws.
People voted for elections of the various ministers; the minimum age to vote was 18 years old. People were also able to become candidate for a minister. The minimum age requirement to be a candidate was 25 years of age.
The Supreme Court was the highest judicial authority in the Federal Republic of Rasshua. The President of the Supreme Court was Еkaterina Gholchev

Citizenship
The Law of 14 November 2014, Number 15, Article 1, Paragraph 1, established that a citizen of the Federal Republic of Rasshua must align with the following points:
- A son or daughter of a father or mother with citizenship of the Federal Republic of Rasshua that was born inside national territory;
- A son or daughter of a father or mother with citizenship of the Federal Republic of Rasshua, that was born outside national territory;
- Anyone that had requested to become a citizen at the Citizenship Department and was approved.
In the Federal Republic of Rasshua, citizenship was assigned to people by the Citizenship Department, which provided citizens with a digital passport that citizens used as an identity document, and additionally a passport
