Aglakea (formely known as Orfalia) is a Hegemony of the Empire of Imvrassia.
Etymology
The name Aglakea comes from the Greek Aglaia, and kleos, 'glory', i.e. glory of Aglaia.
History
Beginnings
The state's history, as Orfalia, began on the 19 August 2015, and was created respecting the hellenistic traditions and culture. On the foundation was the establishment of a Constitution which was amended and adopted on the 17th of September, 2015. The first King of Orfalia, was Angelos I, who eventually abdicated on the 1 September, 2015 in favor of the then Prince of Imvrassia, Aggelos A'. On the 2 September 2015, the monarch of Imvrassia accepted with honor the offer of the Crown of Orfalia and to then be enthroned as the King, with the constitutional name Angelos II King of Orfalia.
Empire
After the absorption of Timeria in Orfalia, the Kingdom was elevated to that of an Empire. Therefore, Angelos II was enthroned with the approval of all of the Orphics and the Orthodox Church, like the first Emperor of Orfalia with the official title of, Aggelos I Emperor of Orfalia on the 7th of October 2015. The new Imperial regime has political and cultural influence and inspiration from ancient Greek and Roman history and furthermore it is considered and represents the continuing of the historical legacy of the Roman Empire, both western and eastern. The Orphic Government and the Orphic citizens overall, consider the Emperor of Orfalia a legitimate successor of the Empire that fell with the fall of Constantinople in 1453. With these formalities, it was obvious that the Emperor of Orfalia expressed a great enthusiasm for the cultural and political tradition which comes through the influence and love for the ancient Greek and Roman history.
Union with Imvrassia
On the 1 December 2016, Emperor Aggelos I resigned in favor of his daughter and Queen of Imvrassia, Aikaterini. Her Majesty on the same day annexed Orfalia into the Kingdom of Imvrassia as an Exarchate. After the administrative reorganization on the 1 January 2020, the Exarchate is administratively subordinate to the Praetorian Prefecture of Hesperia. On 3 February 2021 a new reorganization plan began and the name of Aglakea has chosen.
On 01 July 2024 the nominal Kingdom of Pamphylia was created in order to include in an administrative unit all the territories of the Empire that had been joined during the previous years and so the Hegemony join to this new administrative unit.
On 16 August 2024 the Praetorian Prefecture of Orfalia was created in order to include in its old territory and the Hegemony join to this new administrative unit.

Politics
Aglakea (as Orfalia) was a parliamentary monarchy, structured as a direct democracy. The first political party was created on the 20th of September 2015, and was name the "Democratic Party". Subsequently, the Pragmatic Party and Kostalira Bartresa-in Orphic language Patriotic Left- were created. On the 18th of September 2015, the Pragmatic Party was re-founded under the name "Social Democratic Party of Orfalia", and the Democratic Party it was re-founded under the name National Party of Orfalia. The Crown arbitrates the institutions and internal issues and can take initiatives in foreign policy. The Great Archon is elected by the Senate, every year. The public officials and positions of responsibility are elected and revocable by the Senate as also the Consul, who is appointed to assume the Presidency of the Senate, the regulation of the Senate and take the Great Archon at the time that the Great Archon resigns, or is dismissed or is unable to perform his duties.
The first elections were held on the 27th of August 2015, and Jose Antonio Silva was elected Great Archon, because the Pragmatic Party obtained 5 of the 10 seats of the Senate.
With the constitutional reform of September 2015, the Pragmatic Party became in Social Democratic Party, the Democratic Party became in National Party. On 29 January 2016, Janus Augusto, candidate of the Social Democratic Party of Orfalia was elected by the Senate of Orfalia new Great Archon.
The Senate shall be composed by those Orphics that are eligible for the position and that are over 21 years old. The office of Great Archon was repealed after the annexing to Imvrassia and its responsibilities was replaced by the office of the Exarch. As part of the Empire of Imvrassia, Orfalia has the full inner workings of government and administrative issues, while allowed the establishment and operation of a representative-public advisory body.
Despotes of Orfalia
Wanting to show respect for the political and cultural past of the Exarchate, as well as the importance of the tradition of old Orfalia within the Empire, the Crown decided to create the title of Despotes of Orfalia. This is a dynastic title of the heir apparent to the Imvrassian throne and furthermore symbolizes the unity of the State.
On 16 April 2023 Emperor Aggelos issued a Chrysobull and Caesar Stamatios was awarded the title of Hegemon of Thracia while his previous titles were abolished.
Foreign Relations
For the relations of the Hegemony of Aglakea with other micronations, the responsibility belong to the Crown and the Council of State of Imvrassia.
Economy
The official currency is the "Dinar" , plural "Dinars".
Culture
The most important institution for education and research was the University of Orfalia. The University had work in education, research and promotion of the Greco-Latin culture.
