The Era of Good Feelings was a period in Kapresh history, defined by a general patriotism and hope for the future in Kapreburg. The main reasons behind this patriotism were the Dominion of Herbstland, Partition of the Aleunnic Empire, North Fox Island, victory in the Dan-Kapresh War, and the victory against the State of North Fox Island. It is named after the Era of Good Feelings in the United States, where there was a general increase of patriotism and nationalism in the United States.
History
Prelude
The First Downfall is the era that preceded the Era of Good Feelings, it is defined by the reputation of Kapreburg on an intermicronational stage plummeting, mostly due to actions by Jackson I. This played a part in forming the Era of Good Feelings, because citizens of Kapreburg were tired of their micronation being scrutinized and hated.
Kapresh imperialism
Something that can be seen as the beginning of the Era of Good Feelings is the formation of the Dominion of Herbstland. This was around the time that Kapresh imperialism became a popular ideology, and Herbstland was the first major manifestation of the ideology. The next manifestation of Kapresh imperialism was the involvement in the Partition of the Aleunnic Empire. Kapreburg negotiated as much as they could to gain as much territory as possible out of the partition. This resulted in the territory of Providence Rock.
