The Dostyk Sector is a micronational sector located in an undisclosed city which is located in the Aral–Caspian Depression. "Dostyk" comes from the Kazakh word "Достық" which translates to friendship. The Dostyk Sector is and was the home to many, if not all micronations located in western kazakhstan, active or defunct.

Nations within the Dostyk Sector are not just similar in location, but culture and demographics. The Dostyk Sector's local ethnicities and cultures are quite different than Kazakhstan's and that's the reason the sector exists. This ethnic and cultural uniqueness is due to the high expat population within the Dostyk Sector.

Etymology

The term "Dostyk" comes from the Kazakh word "Достық" which translates/means friendship.
