The District of Corindalesti used to be the Capital city of the Republic of Caelesta until the May 2021 Territorial Shifts, when the "DF"CZ became the new Capital of the Country. It was also the Capital city of the Province of Corindalesti, which was named after the city, but it merged with the Astravenesti Munincipality, leaving only the Province.
