Deburklandification is the process of making something less Burklandi. In Stabilitan politics, it is the name the Stabilitan Government gives to its rejection of Burklandi ideology and domestic and foreign policy and attempts to make amends for them. Deburklandification in Stabilitas began with the foundation of Stabilitas and is still ongoing. Examples of deburklandification in Stabilitas include the creation of the Stabilitan Antarctic Territory in Paulet Island and The Crown's apology for actions of the ComradeMr Republic and Burkland. As Burkland was dissolved in May 2018, deburklandification in Stabilitas has an ill-defined goal and it is uncertain when it will be considered to be completed.

Stabilitas celebrates April 3rd as Deburklandification Day. Deburklandification Day is in response to Burkland's Foundation Day, which celebrated April 3rd as the day the ComradeMr Republic, and thus the Burklandi nation, was founded. The holiday is, therefore, a rejection of the Burklandi national project. Deburklandification was declared to be finished on April 29, 2021.
