The Chairman of the Supreme People's Congress (or Chairwoman) is the de jure head of government of the Democratic People's Republic of Kirkland. They are the leader of the Supreme People's Congress.
Powers and responsibilities
The Chairman is constitutionally the head of government. Their primary duty is to preside over the operation of the Supreme People's Congress. Along with this office comes the power to regulate the legislative docket (which proposals will be considered for a vote) and appoint congresspeople to the various Congressional Committees.
