Benedict Baltz is an American micronationalist currently serving as Premier of the Integralist Republic of Harambanistan and Chancelllor of the Republic of Quailia.
Non-micronational life
Baltz was born in 1998 in Temple, Texas and grew up in San Marcos, Texas. Throughout his childhood he was active in the Boy Scouts of America and the Order of the Arrow, attaining the Vigil Honor in 2014 and the rank of Eagle Scout in 2016. He attended the University of Dallas, studying Philosophy for four years.
Micronational career
Baltz participated in numerous micronations in his childhood. The first serious micronation founded by Baltz was the Empire of Quailia, founded in 2012 with his sister, Eleanore. Baltz served as Chancellor of Quailia from Quailia's founding in 2012 until 12 February 2017 when he resigned citing his struggle balancing his micronational duties with his college studies.
In 2015, Baltz co-founded the Equestrian Order of Saint Thomas, an intermicronational Catholic chivalric order, and served as its first Grand Master.
In October 2021, Baltz led a revolution in Quailia which saw the collapse of the Empire and the formation of the Republic of Quailia. He currently serves as Chancellor and head of government of the republic.
In June 2022, Baltz was a leader of the Harambanistani independence movement. When the Integralist Republic of Harambanistan declared independence from Quailia on 24 June 2022, he assumed office as the country's first Premier.
