The Seamanhattan-Wabasso Road is an 323-kilometer international route commonly taken between the Baustralian municipalities of Seamanhattan, Landspotter, and Wabasso, Mild Pond. The route commences at Highway 8, and terminates at Mountain Lake at HRD Landspotter.

The Routes Office of Baustralia has no authority, nor will it lay claim over the Canadian portions of the road, and thus will be unsigned for most of the route. In Baustralia, it is given the administrative designation of Highway 1002.

Route description

Commencing at Westminster, at the junction of Highways 28 and 53, with Highway 8 and the Wabasso-Concord Road. It follows Highway 53 west to Douro Second Line, before advancing north to Peterborough County Road 4. Following the road into the City of Peterborough, the route travels north up Chemong Road to Lindsay Road. It follows this road onto Highway 7 and the Trans-Canada Highway toward Lindsay. It diverts north at Highway 12, where it goes through Durham Region, and into the County of Simcoe.

The route carries on into Orillia, where, at the junction of Highways 12 and 11, the route carries on as Simcoe County Road 11. Onto County Road 93, formerly Highway 93, the route travels north up to the Village of Craighurst, where it turns east on Simcoe County Road 22 and crosses Highway 400. It follows this routing before proceeding east on Highway 26.

Into Stayner, Highway 26, and the Seamanhattan-Wabasso Road, both turns north, past former Highway 92, and into Collingwood. At High Street, the highway and road turns north, and remains on this route into Grey County, and onward to Owen Sound. At the terminus of Highway 26, the route follows Highway 6 west. At Grey County Road 1, the road leaves the King's Highway network for the last time, and advances toward County Road 17A.

At County Road 17A, the route follows east toward parent route County Road 17 and north to Benallen. It follows County Road 17 just shy of the 20th Concession of the Township of Georgian Bluffs, where it turns east down Mountain Lake Drive. The route terminates at the dockyard at Mountain Lake.

SWR proposed routing

In late May 2022, the SWR was proposed to be modified to travel on Highway 28, into the Village of Lakefield, through Bridgenorth, and onto Lindsay Road, bypassing Peterborough. Although adding three more turns, and seven kilometres, the route is marginally faster, due to less traffic.

The following table lists the major junctions along Seamanhattan-Wabasso Road.
