Senator Basil of Lofokrithia Foreign Minister The Empire of Byzantium Novum, and the Senator of the Imperial Senate.
Political career
His Excellency is presently serving in the Imperial Senate and as Foreign Minister of the Empire of Byzantium Novum. On March 14 of 2019, he was appointed Kleisaurarches of Lofokrithia. He was also appointed the Deputy Foreign Minister on March 29 of 2019. In July of the same year, he was appointed to the position of Foreign Minister. Later in the year his name was nominated for a Senatorial seat and was appointed to the Imperial Senate on December 1 of 2019. The Foreign Minister has excelled in his relationships with foreign nations as he continues to help to grow the influence of the Empire of Byzantium Novum through the capable support he receives from his staff in the Foreign Ministry.
In addition to his roles with the Empire of Byzantium Novum, the Senator was appointed to the role of General Secretary of the League of Hellenistic Micronations by the Regent of Imvrassia in November 2019.
In December 2019, the Regent of Imvrassia asked Senator Basil to become Exarch of Eleftheria which was an Exarchate under the protection of the Empire of Imvrassia.
In December 2020, Senator Basil was asked to become the Prefect of the Prefecture of Americania by Imperial Highness Aggelos I of Imvrassia.
Senator Basil continues to work on behalf of various micronations, helping to establish the Micronational Leadership Forum (MLF) that was created to help young and upcoming micronations by helping them develop and provide expertise to them where needed.
