The Arlandican Air Force (ARAF; Filipino: Hukbong Himpapawid ng Arlandika), officially known as the Arlandican Air Service, is the aerial service branch of the Civil Guards of Arlandica (CGA). It conducts aerial and air defense operations, providing support to the Ground Regular Forces and the Naval Service, as well as participating in humanitarian missions and disaster response efforts. It is the youngest branch of the CGA.
History
Originally established as the 1st Air Defense Group, part of the Mainland Unit Command of the Ground Regular Forces based in Lopez, Nueva Bago, the unit was created before the Battle of Cataline on May 29, 2021, during a major escalation of the internal conflict.
It was dissolved on September 9, 2024, as part of the reorganization efforts by King Jerold I. On September 28, by virtue of Act of Parliament No. 39, the Arlandican Air Service was established as a separate branch.
Organization
The monarch of Arlandica holds the rank of Marshal of the Air in their capacity as the Commander-in-Chief. The Commander of the Air Service is subordinate to the Chief of Staff and exercises control and command over the branch, providing instructions to unit commanders. The Commander of the Air Service is appointed by either the Chief of Staff or the monarch.
Similar to the Ground Forces in the CGA, the air force has its own units, each consisting of at least 5 to 6 personnel or more. Units may be further subdivided into groups, each comprising 2 to 4 personnel.
Any general or lieutenant general is eligible for the role of Air Service Commander.
Strategic Air Command
The Strategic Air Command is the only unit within the Arlandican Air Force. It carries out drone and monitoring operations, as well as air defense missions. The unit consists of only one group, the 1st Search and Rescue Group (Saviour). King Jerold I currently acts as a unit commander.
Rank structure
The air force ranks are as follows:

Bases
The air force does not have any air bases. Air force personnel may utilize the facilities of both the navy and ground forces to conduct monitoring missions within the Air Surveillance Zones (ASZ).
The ARAF is considering the acquisition of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) drones and plans to build launch pads in Santo Niño City. The air force is also exploring access to one or two facilities of the Vilasian Self-Defense Forces (VSDF), which would include a UAV launch pad and an outpost.
Air Surveillance Zones
The air force has established Air Surveillance Zones (ASZ) in various parts of Arlandica. The primary purposes of the ASZ are to safeguard the airspace over key cities by monitoring and controlling aircraft activities, preventing unauthorized or illegal aircraft operations by other micronations, and supporting law enforcement and defense measures during emergencies or heightened security threats.
Currently, there are three (3) ASZ in the country:
- ASZ 01 Mainland Arlandica
- ASZ 02 Nueva Bago
- ASZ 03 Lémarita
