Overview

The MVFF Challenge Cup is a virtual football tournament which will be played from 13–16 May 2017.It is an official qualifying tournament for the MVFF World Cup in 2017. They will be 6 teams.It is organized by The Micronational Virtual Football Federation. If the winner has already qualified for the World Cup, the runner-up will qualify.The Polish Republic of Freeland is entering the Challenge Cup despite already qualifying as the hosts of the World Cup. After being designated as an organizer, Occitania refused to host the cup because it had no role in the simulation of the matches and the organization of the challenge.

Format

The tournament will feature six teams.It will have two groups of three teams with the winners of each group qualifying for the semi-finals.
