Youri Koeman (Korean: 유리 코만), also known by his Korean name Jong Sung-wok (Korean: 종성 웍) (25) is a North Korean politician and mayor (read: Enclave Leader), living in Taedong, an autonomous North Korean municipality and enclave in the Netherlands. He is party leader of the Dutch branch of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPKN) and is also the ambassador for the Free Socialist State of Paloma to the Netherlands.
History
Youri Koeman was born on 4 August 1995 in the Dutch town of Meppel. He grew up in a Dutch family and lived in several places, such as Steenwijk, Rotterdam, Spijkenisse and nowadays Emmeloord. Koeman has degrees in landscaping and worked mainly with plants from the age of 16 to 24. At 25 he started working in the retail sector.
From the age of 19 to 23 he was active as head of state of the now defunct micronations North Dutch Korea and the Blue Star Islands. He has been working from the age of 24 to date as mayor (read: Enclave Leader) of Taedong, the first North Korean enclave and North Korean municipality in the Netherlands. Since late December 2020, he has also been working as the ambassador for Paloma in the Netherlands. At the age of 24, he founded Taedong and took North Korean citizenship. He also pledges his eternal loyalty to Kim Jong-un, Leader of North Korea.
Politics
Koeman is the founder and party leader of the Dutch branch of the Workers' Party of Korea (WKPN). The party has no seats in the Dutch or North Korean government and hopes to participate in the Dutch municipal elections sometime in the future. At the moment the WPKN has 2 members. This makes the party a so-called splinter party.
However, during the Dutch elections, as in municipal, provincial and national, Koeman votes for the conservative SGP, a strict Reformed party with Kees van der Staaij as party leader. Why Koeman votes for this party instead of the socialist parties is first because Koeman is a Reformed Christian himself, and second, according to Koeman, the Socialists in the Netherlands do too little with socialism. The SGP, on the other hand, has good plans that really want to change the Netherlands, in a positive sense. In addition, he sees Van der Staaij as a good leader who always remains calm, polite and precise knows what to say, without many disagreeing with him, something that happens quite a lot in Dutch politics. The SGP currently has 3 seats in the Dutch government.
