Soldiers of Calvinism (Dutch: Soldaten van Calvinisme) is a far right orthodox Calvinist and micronational militia active in the Netherlands. It was originally founded as the national army of the Calvinist State, until it became an independent organization in 2023. The militia was founded by JJacobus Calvinus, who, in addition to being President of the Calvinist State, also appointed himself leader of Soldiers of Calvinism.
Soldiers of Calvinism has expressed support for the islamic micronational militias known as the Islamic Army and League Sovereignty Force (Formerly known as Katibat Ansar al-Mu'minin), both of which are led by Abu Mus'ab, a close ally of Johannes Calvinus, and the leader of the Islamic Emirate of Recanesia, which is an ally of the Calvinist State. Additionally, Soldiers of Calvinism maintains an alliance with Brahma Kamal, a micronational hindu group that wants to establish a hindu state in the German state of Bavaria, and the Almendrian Liberation Army, a militia engaged in conflict in Almendria against the tyrant rule of the Almendrian leader, Tizian Aruna. Although there is minimal or no contact with the latter group, the alliance remains in effect to this day.
Goals and efforts
Soldiers of Calvinism has as main goals to revolt against roman catholic micronations and to spread the most strict and orthodox form of Calvinism throughout the micronational world. The militia is mainly active via YouTube, Instagram and Discord, but says it does not shy away from actions aimed at roman catholics outside the digital world. The Calvinist militia sees the Vatican and the United States of America as their greatest enemies and is extremely anti-catholic. In their search for alliances, Soldiers of Calvinism predominantly focus on collaborating with militias from many different religions, whose ideologies and goals are deemed compatible with their own.
