It was released independently on 9 April 2023 after being in the works for around 48 hours. It is the lead single from Toxicity's second studio album SITS. The lyrics compliment a love interest whom the protagonist can't stop thinking about.
The single has received mixed criticism, with some praising the track and other criticizing it for mixing choices and lack of autotune.
Production
Toxicity said of the song in an interview that 'YSB' stands for 'You're So Beautiful' and later stated that it only took around an hour to come up with the lyrics. The track itself was composed in two days with the vocals recorded over the course of two hours. Toxicity has also stated directly that the song was inspired by Jai Paul's Jasmine (2012).
