The War on Piracy is ongoing civil conflict between criminal pirates and the governments of the Federal Union of Wegmat, United Salado and Confederation of Weimar. The conflict began after pirates shot down a Chavaleir Merchant Vessel. The Salado Navy fired at an FRS Ship.

The Fiume e Roccia Sqaudra of pirates come from the Feudals, or the Muliono Colonies, a loosely controlled land of the Weimar Confederation under the rule of 3 local monarchies. The Fiume e Sqaudra is headed by Lord Geriono Coribono, a lord from an estate along the river. He gathered up a group of peasants to assist him in raiding ships that come to the colonies from Ephraim and Levare. The FRS became semi-successful and brought land into the Fox River Sector where they continued thieving. The pirate are presumed to have come to the coasts of Wegmat in search of a valuable island. The FRS stole a former rodentian cruiser and began piracy along the Weg coast.

In pursuit of the unknown valuable item, the FRS raided Fort Huppert, a military installation near Evansville. The raid left several Wegs eliminated and the document room ransacked. WSPI arrived at the Fort and retrieved security footage confirming that they were of FRS. The military of Wegmat became in charge of the operations against pirates.

The Adderall Pirates is a group of pirates who were inspired by FRS. They are by far the most dangerous and often destroy ships after they are raided.

All major governments in the region have declared FRS threats to national security as all nations that touch the river have been victims of a loss of commerce.
