The Governor of New Shropshire is the deputy of the Governor of New Shropshire. They are appointed by the Governor, who is the nation's highest authority and chief executive. In effect, the Vice-Governor hold the same powers as the Governor.
The Vice-Governor's official residence is Sovereign House in Cheltenham, England. The current vice-governor is Sir Charles FitzGerald.
History
The position is the direct successor the position of Deputy Governor of the West Chile Company, which was disbanded in 1839.
Flag and emblem
The Governor's flag is a blue Flag defaced with the coat of arms of New Shropshire.
They use the same emblem as the Privy Council.
