Fosalk, officially the United Soviet Republics of Fosalk (Norwegian:Forente Sovjetiske Republikkene Fosalk), known as Soviet Fosalk, is a transcontinental micronation located in North America and Europe with a population of 20 citizens. It borders with the United States, Norway, the United Kingdom, Austria, and Italy. It's capital is Folketstad and it is a Single Party Socialist Mixed Regime since 25th,January,2022. Fosalk has a 3.0/5 on the Categoric-Gradial System of Classification and a score of 2.6/5 on Roscoe's Scale of Micronational Seriousness. The micronation was formerly the United States of Friendship.
Etymology
The name Fosalk derrives from the combination of the Norwegian Words "United Socialist People" (Forent sosialist folk)
History
Revolution
Initial Phase
The start of the Revolution occurred on November,20th,2021 at 12:37pm EST with 10% of the citizens going on protest for the lack of government Transparency. At 12:51pm EST the Volkspräsident of the United States of Friendship backed the protesters. At 12:53pm EST the Government stood down and allowed the Revolutionary Government to take power.
Revolutionary Government
Shorty after the Revolution the Revolutionary Government attempted to unify the people which worked well. After this the new constitution was drafted and was signed on January,31st,2022.
