Minnesota, officially the United Republics of Minnesota is a micronation located in the U.S state of Minnesota. It is led by Antonius Bergsman who is Chancellor of Kaya and he decided to make Minnesota (unilaterally) indepedent but recognizes the authority of the State of Minnesota but does not recognize the United States due to the current administration. The Biden administration had played into his declaration as President of the Republic of Kunstatu and also President of the United Republics of Minnesota, but probably by the United States standards, he wouldn't be recognized as such.
History
At the turn of the month in 2022, 29 January, Antonius decided he wanted to make another micronation that wouldn't be abandoned so he named it after his favorite state, where he was born and raised. So he chose the name 'United Republics of Minnesota'. He is President of the Republic replacing the title of 'Governor' and replacing the title of Liutenent Governor with Vice President. The nation is currently led by the Founding party, the Republican Party which is the only federal party. This country shouldn't be recognized or confused with terrorism. The United Republics of Minnesota, by Antonius, was originally either going to be the United Republics of Wisconsin but due to Minnesota being his home state, he decided on the name 'Minnesota' instead.
