The United Republic of Azfat and Azeria (Azfatti: Zahriye Tadurosko Azfattistan-e-Azeristan; Ashtarki: Унитеы Республика Азфат е Азериа) is a self-proclaimed micronation that claims territories in Bangladesh, and the Caucasus. The nation was established on 2 October 2021, following a socialist revolution in the former Kingdom of Azfat. The previous monarchy under the Al-Zahiri Dynasty was overthrown, and the new Republic of Azfat was formed.
In 2022, the territorial conflict with Azeria came to an end, and Azeria and its territories were incorporated into Azfat. As a result, the nation was renamed into the United Republic of Azfat and Azeria.
History
The Kingdom of Azfat was established in 2019 by Mahmoud Al-Zahiri, who became the first monarch of Azfat. He ruled the country for a year until the October Revolution of Azfat in 2021, which led to the establishment of the Republic of Azfat The revolution was led by the military general Zafar Abdullah Osmanu and other Revolutionary Socialists.
Conflict with Azeria
Following the establishment of the Republic of Azfat on 2 October 2021, a new state declared independence from Azfat and the newly established Azerian People's Democratic Republic was born. This new Republic claimed the Azeri and Ashtarki majority areas consisting of the current Azfatti Provinces of South East Paikpara, South West Paikpara, Amtola and Notunnagar [also known as Behbedezetiya in Ashtarki]. Following this declaration, Azfatti government carried out a month long anti-insurgency and anti-terrorist military campaign which resulted in the defeat of the Ashtarki and Azeri Seperatist rebels and establishment of the Autonomous State of Azeria.
Current status
The United Republic of Azfat and Azeria was formed after the Treaty of Amtola was signed. The country now consists of two constituent parts: Azfat and Azeria. Azeria has its own laws and legislation and holds separate elections for a Chancellor. The current Chancellor of Azeria is Bortawisk Gervander. Following the end to the conflict, Azeria was granted autonomy and partial freedom over politics and economy after the Legislative Assembly voted unanimously in its favour.
National Symbols
Flag
The flag of Azfat and Azeria features a light aquamarine field with a white crescent and three white stars. The aquamarine represents the nation's bright skies, the crescent represents Islam, and the three stars represent the three territories of the nation in Caucasus, and Bangladesh. The flag was designed by President Zafat, who was inspired by the Ottoman Turkish flag.

Demographics
The official languages of Azfat-Azeria are Azfatti, Ashtarki, English, and Bengali, with Azerbaijani, Georgian, Armenian, Estonian, Finnish, Chakma, and Russian being also spoken. Islam is the most prominent religion in the nation, followed by Christianity.
Culture
Azfatti culture is a unique blend of Caucasian, Turkic, Arab, and Bengali culture.
Politics
The Azfatti politics, up until 2020, was hugely dominated by the Monarchist Party called the Crown of Azfat Front [CAF]. Following the October revolution of Azfat, which resulted in the proclamation of the Socialist Republic, the main, and only Political party, has been the "People's and Labourer's Red Front" which was established as an underground political organisation in Pre-Republic days of Azfat, meant to overthrow the monarchy and establish a Republic. The PLRF has maintained a majority in both the House of Districtmen as well as the House of Statesmen in the National Legislative Assembly, maintaining a total of 90 seats out of the designated 95 seats.
The PLRF was founded by the Azfatti Revolutionary and Politician, Azmer Ruhaazhi, back in 2020. He, along with the current President Osmanu, formed the party back in 2020, and soon gained widespread support, mainly from revolutionist students who wanted to overthrow the government. Between January 2021 and September 2021, the PLRF organised massive protests, rallies, walkouts and strikes, demanding a revolution. Following a series of violent clashes and protests, the Monarchy was finally overthrown and the PLRF officially came into power following the proclamation of the Republic in October 2nd, 2021.
Human Rights Allegations
The PRLF has been accused of human rights violations by the country's main newspaper- Hurreyat-E-Azfatistan, which has accused the PRLF of targeting human rights groups, NGOs, and cracking down on political opponents and critics of the Government. The Government, has not denied these claims and have stated that as a Socialist state, the Azfatti Constitution gives the Government the sole right to deal with distress, spread of misinformation and instability with any methods required, which it has used as an excuse to crack down on and persecute political opponents and anti-government critics.
