Task Force Ruevit, also known as Task Force Rugiaevit, and officially called Special Operations Unit 1 Rugiaevit (High Napranian: 1 Jednostka Opracii Specjał Rugiа̄wit), is a Valenian special forces unit that forms part of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Valenowa, and exists among several other similar units. Task Force Ruevit is regarded as the most elite unit within the Valenian Armed Forces.
History
Task Force Ruevit was founded in early 2021 first as the Red Guard, and later as the Maltan Infantry. Task Force Ruevit was founded as a special unit, specializing in covert operations, counter-terrorism, wilderness survival, and operations in adverse and/or harsh conditions. It has seen no engagements throughout its short history, and has been consistently headquartered at Fort Bolesław, Valenowa.
Training
As well as attending Valenian Basic Combat Training, applicants must additionally pass a number of mental and psychological aptitude tests, as well as several specialized training courses for camouflage, wilderness survival, and irregular warfare. In addition, applicants are required to have former military or law enforcement experience, and first responder training at minimum.
