Star McKinley is the co-founder of Starland and current Commander of Military Operations (CMO), Field Marshal of the Starlander Republican Guard, and Deputy Prime Minister and current Vice Secretary General of the InterMicronational Treaty Organization. She served as the Starland's first Queen during its Kingdom Era from August 28 to December 14, 2009. Born in California she became interested in micronationalism in August 2009 after being introduced to it by Nik Hart. On August 28, 2009, the two established themselves on a popular message board as an Internet micronation called Star Nation where she reigned as Queen and Hart as Prime Minister and General of the Army. During her reign, the nation was known as Star Nation and briefly as Star Kingdom. She abdicated in December 2009 after over three months as Queen, leaving the throne to her Prime Minister. Despite her short reign, she left an impression and her name to the nation she held so close to her heart. She was proclaimed "Eternal Queen" and would be considered such until the monarchy was abolished in September 2010. She was breifly remembered as the "Eternal Leader" before returning when the nation reformed into an empire. She reigned as Starland's Empress from March 31 to May 7, 2011 during the First Empire era, a week as the "State of Starland's Matriarch from May 7 to May 15, and as Empress, again, from May 15 to July 17, 2011. In total, she reigned three and a half months on the throne. When added to the time she spent as Queen of Starland, McKinley has reigned for seven months out of the nation's two year period.
Political Background
McKinley is not known to be interested in politics, leaving most of it to the government. She did, however, have mixed beliefs beliefs such as equal rights for minorities and gays and was pro-life. She was also a staunch opponent against fascism, racism, sexism, communism and militarism.
