"Solidarity Forever" is the official national anthem of the Arstotzkan Union. The nation anthem was changed from the recreation of the National Anthem of the Soviet Union, which was known as the Song of the Mighty Arstotzkan People's. The idea to adopt Solidarity Forever as the national anthem for the Arstotzkan Union came about in early-November 2023 and on 27 February 2024, Ethan Brinkman passed Executive Presidential Order 0013 and adopt Solidarity Forever as the national anthem for the nation.
History of the Anthems
The Arstotzkan Union has always had an interesting history with its national anthems. In 2019 with the founding of the nation, the tune from the game Papers, Please was used as the official national anthem of the nation until a growing acceptance of the Soviet Union came about in the Arstotzkan Union and the State Anthem of Soviet Union was used. This was officially announced until 21 September 2020, with the theme from Papers, Please being listed as the official state march at the same time.
The use of the state anthem was later replaced by the tune only from 7 November. This was later renamed as the National Anthem of the Arstotzkan Union on 11 December 2020. A day later the official lyrics were created and adopted.
