The September 2020 Georgienstinian House of Representatives election took place on 6 September 2020. This was held simultaneously with the September 2020 Georgienstinian Senatorial Election.

The election saw the Nationalist suffering losses in both chambers with losses in the National House of Representatives being more severe. The election also saw the rise of the Movement for Socialism, which took votes from the Labour-Democratic Party, which suffered major losses. The Conservative Party's support remained relatively stable.

Background

The July 2020 Georgienstinian Congressional Election resulted in a Nationalist majority government. Shortly after the elections, Benjamin Pickles and Sean Dunkerque renounced their Georgienstinian citizenship. They later rejoined to form the Movement for Socialism.

Electoral system and organization

The House of Representatives was composed of 8 seats elected by proportional representation in a single nationwide constituency, with a legal threshold of 1 full seat (12.5%), and residuals assigned by the D’Hondt method.

Campaign

The Nationalists released numerous posters listing their national conservative policies and the Conservatives released a poster listing their libertarian policies.
