The Secretary of State for Education, sometimes known as the Education Secretary, is a secretary of state in the Government of Tanaau and head of the Ministry of Education. The officeholder is a member of the Cabinet of Tanaau.

Appointment
Like other ministers of the crown, the education secretary is appointed by and serves at the monarch's pleasure. They are conventionally appointed on the nomination of the prime minister.
