The Secretary of State of Albia is a senior cabinet position in the Kingdom of Albia. It is senior to other cabinet positions but isn't an office that is always in use.
History
The role of secretary of state was established on 12 June 2022 but was an office that remained ill defined until 17 June 2022 when Luke I of Albia made the office more defined so when people take office they will have a clear set of duties they will be responsible for.
Responsibilities
There are no set duties or responsibilities that come with the role. However there are a few duties officeholders typically carry out.
These duties include:
- Assisting the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister
- Informing the Monarch on some Government Work
- Deputising in the Prime Minister's Absence
