Saint Duisienbourgh

Saint Duisienbourgh (pronounced as Saynt Doo-sin-berg) is a fictitious revered figure in the mythology of Duisien and the Old Duisien Civilization, the fictional lost society that is fabled to have preceded Northudankton. He is the symbolic founder of the Way of Duisien, a set of philosophical beliefs and practices that guided the Old Duisien people for centuries. Although much of the mythology of the Old Duisien Civilization has been lost to time, the legacy of Saint Duisienbourgh lives on. His teachings are inscribed in the Holy Nostisomnius.

According to Duisien legend, Saint Duisienbourgh founded the first community of the Duisien people at Duisien Rock, near modern-day Duikienin. This community is said to have lasted for 1000 years, until the Nimmish invaded and sparked a series of five wars that led to the collapse of Duisien society. Despite the fall of the Old Duisien Civilization, the teachings of Saint Duisienbourgh have continued to influence the beliefs and practices of those who follow the Way of Duisien.

Saint Duisienbourgh was not a real person. He is the central figure of the Duisien religion and a metaphor for the creation of the universe and our place in it. The story of Saint Duisienbourgh serves as an allegorical guide for understanding the cosmos and humanity's journey from the Big Bang to moral and spiritual awareness.

According to Holy Nostisomnius, after Saint Duisienbourgh's death, a prophecy emerged that told of a brave man, known as the Kabaar, who would reunite the Duisien people and bring their ways back to the living realm. While the identity of the Kabaar was unknown, it was revealed to be Jonathan T Freeman, the founder of the modern Duisien civilization, Northudankton.

It is also believed that Saint Duisienbourgh did not simply die, but rather ascended into the sun and became the sun god, a figure who embodies the influence of light upon the darkness. This belief underscores the profound impact that Saint Duisienbourgh had on the Duisien people and their worldview.
