Rutania or The Kingdom of Rutania, is a absolute and constitutional monarchy, with Andrew I of Austrovia as its King. The Kingdom was originally a republic, but change its government to become a client state of Austrovia.
The current Monarch is Andrew I of Austrovia, since Rutania is apart of the Austrovian Commonwealth, or Austrovian Association of States, but the true ruler of the nation is the Duke of New Glasgow, who is currently Jacob of Brandenburg, older brother of Andrew. The Prime Minister is the defacto leader of the nation and is elected by the populace. The current Prime Minister is Gabe Griffins, who is a member of the Rutanian Party. The National Council acts as the legislative branch of government and sometimes the judical branch.
Rutania was founded on October 9, 2017 as a project of Andrew and Gabe. It later became inactive, but was revived as the Kingdom of Rutania and became a member of the Austrovian Commonwealth, which is a alliance of Austrovian client states.
History
Rutania was founded by Andy Irons, or Andrew I, and Gabe Griffins as project for school. Eventually, the two decided to actualy make their project into a micronation.
