Ronchis is a town in Yunivers and the chief town of the Province of Pozut. It is located in the Viali Mountains.
Etymology
The name derives from the Furlan word Ronc, that means "into the woods", so the meaning of the name is "House in the Woods".
Geography
The town is perched on the slopes of Mount Viali, and surrounded by the woods. Nearby flows the stream Poçiut.
History
The city was founded during the Middle Ages. It was a small farming village. It remained inhabited until the early 1900s, and was then abandoned due to emigration. In 2007 Yunivers founded a city here.

In Ronchis there's a Gendarmerie station and the seat of the Province of Pozut.

Ronchis is connected to the roads network by the municipal road number 1 of Ronchis and Cjampeàt.
