Revbertism is a syncretic political and social ideology developed by Nyck Bradaten as a method to achieve the Nine Principles laid out in the Richenslandic Declaration of Establishment. Followers of the ideology are called Revbertists.

Etymology

Revbertism derives its name from the Revolutionary Liberty Club, which was the first quasi–political party in Richensland to adopt the ideology.

Background

Nine Principles

The Nine Principles are the reasons of Richensland's establishment and what the nation is meant to achieve. Laid out in the nation's founding document, it states:

That we have decided upon these as our guiding principles, (1) that all men are created equal, (2) and with that is their right to self–determination, (3) the elimination of stressful–conditions in life. We also do agree that (4) the individual has the right to his privacy, (5) matters of public life should not interfere with his private one, school should not affect his private life. With these, we also agree that (6) on a creation of a fraternal society, (7) the individual to live an enjoyable and relaxed life, (8) liberation from oppression and (9) the establishment of a just, benevolent and democratic society.

With that, the Nine Principles has always played apart in the administration of the nation. The Nine Principles are especially important as it serves as the base for Revbertism and revbertist policies.

Implementation

Revbertism has always been the de facto state ideology of Richensland. It was especially implemented during the presidencies of the ideology's developer, Nyck Bradaten.

In addition, it can be said that Revbertism is still implemented even though its effects might not be as strong nor as influential as it was meant to be.

Policies

Useful education

As part of its ideology, Revbertism is focused on ensuring students receive education that is useful in life. As an example, this would mean that Algebra and learning how to play the Recorder are excluded from the educational curriculum in Richensland.

Homework and examinations

Homework and examinations are abolished in Richensland. This ensures that students are less stressed and suicidal. It also fulfils point 3, 5 and 7 of the Nine Principles.

This policy also makes it possible for people in a civilized society to not judge each other based on a piece of paper with numbers written in red ink, and for the paper to not determine a person's fate in life. This corresponds with point 3, 5, 7 and 8 of the Nine Principles.

Simulationalist micronations

Richensland is not hostile towards simulationist micronations as compared to other micronations and is allied with them.

Richensland views simulationist and discord micronations as equal to "actual" micronations. As micronations comprise of people, this complies with point 1 of the Nine Principles.

This judgment is fair and thus it satisfies point 9 as well.
