The Republic of New Saarland is a micronation in the UK established on 8 March 2017. The nation was founded by its current President,Edwin Farrar.

History
On the 7th March 2017, the Republic of North Farrar was expelled from the UPO.It then became defunct and the ex-president of the Republic decided to create a brand new micronation called the Republic of New Saarland, which is inspired by the micronation.Edwin Farrar appointed himself president and Dimitrije Golubović was appointed Vice-President.A senate was formed and it joined the Micronational Virtual Football Federation. It competed at the DG Cup and finished second in the competition after being beaten 1-0 by Coria.

There are two political parties in the Republic of New Saarland.The DPRP and the National Party.The legislature is the Senate.The senate meet every Thursday on an official Chatroom.There are 3 seats available in the Senate.

Military
There is no military in the Republic of New Saarland.Edwin Farrar wishes that the country does not have a military but instead have the police force.In a case of war, the Republic of New Germany will ask other micronations militaries for help.The police force has its own flag.

Foreign Relations
The Republic of New Saarland is a European micronation and so far is only in one micronational organisation.It wishes to have diplomatic relations with other micronations. On the 8th March 2017, the micronation opened its first diplomatic relation with the Polish Republic of Freeland.
Micronational Virtual Football Federation
The only organisation that the Republic of new Saarland is in is the Micronational Virtual Football Federation.
The GUM
The Republic of New Saarland wishes to be a member of the GUM.It believes that joining the GUM would benefit the micronation and also believes that joining the GUM could increase diplomatic relations with other micronations. It will apply for observer membership first. It was rejected in its first time applying but will apply again when the micronation further develops activity with other micronations.
