Escevia, officially Republic of Escevia is a micronation whose seat is in the north of Spain, with a predominantly universalist culture.
Escevia is a netocracy that tries to build a sense of belonging to a nation outside of the ways and schemes historically adopted in countries around the world.
History
It was founded on 15 April 2019 when Josef Diogenus discovered micronations and thought that it was useful to create an alternative way of life to the one imposed by traditional countries.
On 16 April 2019, a Constitution was approved with a minimum regulation of 6 articles in which the model of netocracy and pluriarchy is established as the basis of Scevia.[1]
Escevia joined the Union Against Micronational War on 17 April 2019.[2]
Government
Escevia is organized through groups made up of volunteers who wish to contribute to a specific area of their interest.
There are no hierarchies, command posts or headquarters.
Each year, the citizens choose who will carry out tasks to coordinate the groups and represent the micronation as a spokesperson outside.
