President of Terredepaix

The President, officially the President of the Republic of Terredepaix, is the Head of State, Head of Government, and Commander-in-chief of the still developing Terredepaixan Defense forces. The president is also the highest officer of the executive branch of the Terredepaixan Government. The president of Terredepaix also picks a cabinet out of the people who ran in the last Terredepaixan Presidential election, and they can also advise him or her, but the final choice in all decisions lies with him or her.

History

Brown Presidency

The Brown Presidency began on August 27, 2022 when the Kingdom of Terredepaix dissolved, and became the Republic of Terredepaix. William Brown automatically became the first president of Terredepaix, dissolving his office as King of Terredepaix.

Constitution

President Brown wrote and signed the first edition of the Terredepaixan Constitution.

First election

President Brown held the honor of holding the first election in Terredepaixan history, which was for Governor of the Terredepaixan territory of Drummond Island.

Powers

The president of Terredepaix has the final say in all government decisions in Terredepaix, like declaring war, laws, adding infrastructure, and economic decisions. The president of Terredepaix also represents it at home and abroad.
