The President of Rhodesia is the de facto head of state of the Democratic Republic of Rhodesia. They hold special abilities such as the unilateral ability to declare wars, the ability to call a snap election, and the ability to issue executive orders which can only be overturned or modified by the Prime Minister. The President is elected by a nationwide popular vote system, in which a candidate must earn 50% or more of the votes to become President of Rhodesia. Due to this rule, there may be more than one round of voting if any candidate does not get more than 50% of the votes.
The Office of the President has no term limits, as long as the President can consistently win elections, they can renew terms as many times as they please.
The Unilateral New Constitution is expected, when ratified, to keep all of these posts in tact, as well as those of the Prime Minister of Rhodesia.
