The Erenian Republic is a democratic, unitary, parliamentary republic. It hosts the National Assembly (Nationalversammlung) to serve as its only legislative organ. The National Assembly elects a Governor (Gouverneur) to act concurrently as the head of the National Assembly, as well as the country's only executive organ. However, the Governor may delegate their powers unto departments (Departements), headed by secretaries, which, in turn, have to be confirmed in their appointment by the National Assembly. The Governor and their possible secretaries form the Governorate's Council.
