The October 2021 New Victorian legislative election will be held on October 10th, 2021. All 3 incumbent members of parliament are running again for the Legislative Council. Under the constituency and electoral reform by the government making elections a First-past-the-post Voting system group with group member constituencies.
Election Background
The election was declared by Minister of State Erika Hohenzollern on the 17th of September opening up candidacy registration on the same day. Registration is expected to be closed on the 30th of September. The election is scheduled to be held on the 10th of October at 3p.m. EST to 6p.m. EST the following day. Results of the election are expected to be released at 7p.m. EST on the 11th of October, and the new Government will assume office on the same day at 7:30 p.m. EST.[1]
