Niamh of Marston is a writer and filmmaker from the North East of England, United Kingdom. She is the founder of The Marston Commune. In early 2019 she seceded from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland via an email to the National Trust, informing them that the sea stack formerly known as Marsden Rock had been declared a sovereign state and was no longer on British soil.
