New Moscovia, officially the New Moscovian Wilayah (Qardashi: الويلية پى مسكڤى نو, Al-Vilayah pi Moskvi Nov or پادیشاما آلوپهن موسکو) , was an autonomous region of the Islamic Sultanate of Qardasha. It was attained on January 8, 2023, after the Qardaishan-Greater Russian War. The Wilayah is located in Russia, secceeding Greater Russia after it left the Federal Union of Democratic Soviet Socialist Republics (FUDSSR). It later was united with Greater Russia and declared independence from its protectorate status.
Etymology
The nation's name comes from the capital of Greater Russia, New Moscow.
History
The territory was initially a part of the FUDSSR, but after the Qardaishan-Greater Russian War, it was annexed as an autonomous region of Qardasha. Aidan Pierce volunteered to be the Wali, and now leads the nation. Many of the native Russians have left, and demographics have changed greatly since the annexation.
Demographics
The majority language other than English is Qardashi, with 60% of the population speaking it. The majority ethnic group is Qardashis, with 60% of the population being Qardashi. The majority religion is Islam, with 75% of the population being Muslim, and 20% being Christian, and 20% being Naranist. The demographics quickly shifted away from Russians to the Qardashis.
