Production
Development
Production for the film began in December 2004. John Sacker wanted the film to be extremely greater than the last 2 films which he wanted more detailed items. It was originally planned to be released by 2005, However by 20 November 2005, due to the East Tasmanian invasion of Samera, production were forced to stop. Production then resumed by 19 January 2006.There are alot of scrapped scenes because they're scrapped in favor of GMod scenes which came out during the production. The film was then announced on 16 January 2007. The film was animated in Macromedia Flash 8 and with scenes created in Garry's Mod. The film was originally going to be released on 15 February 2007 but was then delayed. The reason for the delay was to remove scenes and replace them with GMod scenes. However the characters/movements (execpt for Background and Props.) from the old scenes were used in the Garry's Mod scene instead of being reanimated. It was announced again that it was gonna be released in August 2007 on 8 July 2007.
Research trip
In June 2006, John Sacker and Wu Xiaofeng conducted a research trip where they go to Europe for plans for the Neoavanctus film. This was John Sacker's and Wu Xiaofeng first time in Europe. The two visited UK, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany and Netherlands. John visited ports and also railway networks for plans for the film which include the London Underground, Paris Metro, Eurostar (renamed to Lowland Provinces Train in the film). Belgium wasn't in the film as the 2 guys did not like Belgium and decided that the group had some sort of a problem and they boarded a train to Stuttgart before going to Paris and London, However this plot was never considered and in the movie the group went on a boat from the Netherlands to England instead. Originally Italy was going to be in the film but however the group decided that they go to Western Europe instead. In December 2006 John Sacker visited Indonesia for research.
