Neoavanctus 4 is an Sameran animated science fiction film directed and produced by John Sacker. The fourth installment in the Neoavanctus franchise and the sequel to Neoavanctus 3 (2007).

Plot

The film starts off with Nathalie's mother taking Ryan to take an Selective Schools Admission Test at the Sydney Boys High School, Ryan then goes into the examination room to test as Nathalie's mother leaves. Meanwhile, Nathalie goes on a date with Alan at the cinema. Then at the laboratory Tim and Nick builds robots to clear up radiation, However the robots had not yet been activated and luckily by the time it was activated Ryan's exam and Nathalie's date was over. While activating an group of sentient robots that was built by an unknown person decided to block all entrances and exit to the laboratory building causing massive chaos. The robots then destroys the city and forbids Nathalie and Alan from entering. The robots found Natalie's Nike sneakers valuable so they decide to take hostage of her just for the sneakers. Alan had grabbed an gun to shoot the robots from taking away his girlfriend but was shot and injured. Nathalie was then transferred to the Pierton HQ and meeting with Mr.Pierton, Pierton wanted her sneakers but Nathalie did not accept which Pierton decides to put her into an cell and she got gassed with sleeping gas causing her to sleep. Pierton decided that if she didn't give him the sneakers he will have to put her in a cell and transport her to Brunei. Tim apparently had affairs at the HQ with Mr.Pierton so he decides to visit, However he saw Nathalie in the chamber and the chamber sign said it was going to Brunei he knew there was something wrong. He asked why was there an teenage girl in the box and Mr.Pierton replied that she was a test subject sent to the rainforests. Nathalie then woke up in Brunei surrounded by trees. Seeing that her box said she was in Brunei had shocked her, She decides to find a way to get out which led her to Bandar Seri Begawan city. Tim then flew to Brunei in a pod just to find her but the sentient robots had decided to kidnap his pod with an giant magnet and sending him to Antarctica. Nick had heard that Tim was sent to Antarctica so he decides to sail to save Nathalie before going to Antarctica, However he was also sent to Antarctica too. This leaves Dr.Marc to be the only person left in which he was also kidnapped and sent to Brunei while trying to help Nathalie. Dr.Marc then woke up in Brunei in the same forest on top of Nathalie's box and wondered where she went. Dr.Marc went into Bandar Seri Begawan also and met Nathalie. Meanwhile in Antarctica. Jacob then comes and decides to go save everyone. He first goes to Brunei to save Nathalie and Dr.Marc and then go to Antarctica. While in the Pacific Ocean the robots discover him and an battle had happened in the ocean. The battle resulted in the group winning. After that Alan was recovered from the hospital days later. Then days later Ryan was accepted into Sydney Boys High School due to him being an gifted student and in elementary getting all high grades in every subject. The radiation cleanup robot was then launched to clean up the radiation after that.

Production

Development

Production for the film began on October 27, 2008, about 1 year after the 3rd film was released. The film was animated in Adobe Flash CS3 and Garry's Mod. The film was announced on October 27, 2009, 1 year after production began. The teaser was released on July 7 2010.

The film was premiered on 20 August 2010 at the New Finland Theatre

Reception

The film had reached 1,200 views on YouTube which was lower than the previous film which had gained so much success. However it was considered an good film by so many people.

Sequel and spinoff

An spinoff called Neoavanctus 4: Part 2 was released on 9 January 2011. It is an direct-to-video film. An sequel to the film, Neoavanctus 5 was released on on 12 July 2015, In the film, Westwood Labs were being attacked by level 2 robots.
