The title is established within the constitution and stands as the highest Arlandican honorific title and order, surpassing even the Royal Order of Merit and the Order of the Azure Sky.

The title is considered to be of paramount importance. The contributions of Arlandican national heroes are wide-ranging and diverse. Jerold I (April 20, 2007) and Datu Bago (1770 – March 15, 1850) were the inaugural recipients of this prestigious title. Datu Bago's award is posthumous, and he is also honored as a local hero in Davao City, the location of Mainland Arlandica. Jerold I, the founder of Arlandica, holds a pivotal position in its history as one of the most significant figures. He also serves as the first monarch and has navigated numerous conflicts. Furthermore, Jerold I stands as the sole author of the constitution of Arlandica.
