Nadir Uddin II is the crown prince of Ahmedland as the eldest son of Uddin I. While not officially heir apparent, Uddin II is nevertheless referred to as "crown prince" among the King's children given his seniority.

As Crown Prince of Ahmedland, Nadir undertakes official duties on behalf of the King and the Ahmedland realms. He has served as editor-in-chief of the Ahmedlander magazine, and is rumoured to be an unofficial photographer at royal events.

Early life and education

Uddin II moved into the Ahmed royal palace in 1980. At the time, he was the fourth most senior occupant.

Crown Prince

Uddin II has served as crown prince of Ahmedland since 2010.

Father of the King

During the brief reign of his son Abdul (I) Samad, Uddin II actively asserted his son's claim to the throne. However, his absence from Ahmedland during the summer of 2010 eventually led to the reconsideration of the move. No reports indicate Uddin II was exultant upon taking the post of crown prince; in fact, he attempted to bribe Uddin I to abdicate in favour of the young Abdul I.

In 2016, Uddin I returned from the Far West with his son. However, any attempt to regain the throne for Abdul Samad was quelled, as the latter was now of age under a 2010 Ahmed royal decree and renounced the throne.

Unofficial Duties

Uddin I once described his eldest son as the "brainiest member of the royal family." Much of the Prince's mental energy, however, is devoted to solving the problem of the meaning of life, the Universe, and everything and related topics. It is unsubstantiated that the Prince privately holds that the number should be 40.9 or 42.7 rather than 42, or that he will make an announcement of his discoveries age 75.

As Crown Prince, Uddin undertakes official duties on behalf of the King and the Ahmedland realms. These include managing exports into the realm, though many of these roles are undertaken by the Crown Princess and Prince Abdul Samad.

Journalism

The Prince served from around 2016-2017 as editor-in-chief of the Ahmedlander magazine, where he regularly penned issues on the rise of Donald Trump, the 2016 Fort McMurray wildfire, and other issues pertaining to popular culture.
