The Millian Technology Party (MTP) is a political party in the Republic of Millius. The party was founded by August Smith, a Millian citizen. The party was founded on the ideals of using government spending to advance technology, specifically in regards to improving human life.

History

The MTP was proposed on 15 November 2023, by August Smith. One day later, on 16 November, the Millian Assembly voted on the MTP, along with the Davonian Party of Millius. The party was passed unanimously in the Senate, but was tied in the House, being the second issue to ever be tied in the House of Representatives. The tie was broken by the President of Millius, Atreus, who voted in favor of the party. The party was then admitted into the government by the executive branch of the government one day later on 17 November 2023.

Policies

The policies of the MTP entirely consist of the advancement of technology, with a focus on improving human life. The founder of the party, August Smith, has stated that she would like to use some of the government funding on donating to organizations that research and create this technology.
