The Mariana Trench Alliance, abbreviated MTA, was a micronation laying claim to the Mariana Trench in the Pacific Ocean.
History
Early history
The Mariana Trench Alliance was founded on May 17, 2022. On the same day, it signed the Treaty of Simurgh with the Holy Empire of the Kappa. Several military submarine designs were produced.
Cultural development
On November 7, 2022, the nation came out of a long period of inactivity. More cultural development was performed. The nation later produced some classified submarine blueprints, to be built for the siege on Guam.
The submarine names are as follows (ordered from weakest to strongest).
- Squid(Scout)
- Skate(Light attack ship)
- Ray(Strike Vessel)
- Trigger(Land attack vessel(that means that it attacks land from water))
- Manta(Patrol/scout vessel)
- Carp(Mothership/Heavy attack vessel)
Siege on Guam
The MTA plans to insert a large weapons platform above the Mariana Trench armed with a variety of weapons. They will later destroy the U.S on Guam, claiming the territory for themselves. They may also simply ask the U.S for Guam, to avoid a war. Guam will become a large power/resource plant, and be used to hold missiles and aircraft. The Holy Empire of the Kappa may help with this. In the event of a war, we will retreat underwater, and defend strongly with AA guns and unmanned aircraft.
