The Ausverian Volksrepublik due to its Catholic, ultraconservative nature has historically been at best indifferent to and at worst, openly hostile towards the LGBTQ+ community however in recent times attitudes have thawed among the government and people with one notable politician, Jebediah Powell being openly Bisexual. Ausveria's positions on LGBTQ+ rights have come under intense scrutiny and criticism from the Micronational community and resulted in a conflict in March 2021 resulted in the Gayverian-Ausverian War.
