The Kingdom of Nelm, more commonly known as Nelm, was founded on Monday, 4 February 2019. It is an Absolute Monarchy located in Hillsdale, Michigan, USA. The current status of the Kingdom is unknown.
History
Founding
The Kingdom of Nelm was founded on Monday, 4 February 2019 as an absolute monarchy.
Reign of Samuel I
4–26 February 2019
King Samuel I of Nelm began his reign on Monday, 4 February 2019 as the first King of Nelm. On the second day of his reign(Tuesday 5 February 2019), King Samuel established a royal guard system called the "Crosshead Knights". He proceeded to colonize the territory of West Unity because "it was good in its farming unlike Hillsdale." The Kingdom of Bryania declared war on the Kingdom of Nelm on Friday, 6 February 2019 due to "unfinished war goals" from the Toledo War. This conflict between Bryania and Nelm was dubbed the "West Unity War", whose outcome was decided through a game of Rock-Paper-Scissors, which Bryania ultimately won. Having emerged victorious from the conflict, tensions rose and the Kingdom of Bryania proceeded to incite a revolution in the Kingdom of Nelm; the plot was discovered and foiled by King Samuel, who forced Bryania to sign the Treaty of Rossla-Lionala at 12:13 PM on Thursday, 7 February 2019. King Samuel colonized the territories of Cold Water and Hudson on Saturday, 10 February 2019 in order to "help with the war issues and expand the kingdom of God." On Tuesday, 26 February King Samuel abdicated the throne and appointed Leo Cullis as King of Nelm.
Reign of Leo I
26 February 2019 – Present
King Leo I of Nelm, also known as Leo Cullis, began his reign on Thursday, 26 February 2019 as the chosen heir to the throne of Nelm after the abdication of King Samuel I. A now-defunct micronation known as the Kingdom of Onet claims that it was conquered by the Kingdom of Nelm on 12 March 2019. Whether or not this event occurred at all, or during the reign of King Leo I, is unknown. Not much more information is known about his reign, nor any of the history of Nelm after this date.
