(Arabic: كتيبة أنصار المؤمنين - Katibat Ansar al-Mu'minin /English: Supporters of the Faithful Battalion/Short name: Ansar al-Mu'min) is an underground Sunni Islamist militant organization originally founded in Almendrian Recanesia on 9 June 2021. It was originally part of efforts to fight against Almendrian rule in Recanesia. Later on the organisation took part in Pan-Islamist diplomatic unification projects as well. The highlight of their history was their involvement as part of the Mujahideen Coalition in Qardasha. They fought against Qardasha (primarily through digital means by attempting to disrupt activity and cause damage to the 'discord server' of Qardasha and similar actions.

Historical Background

In the 9 June, 2021, Abu Muhammad al-Malayuni al-Malizi al-Ricanizi recruited several people and high-ranking officials in Almendria, Abu Muhammad during that time who's a high-ranking official of Almendria, the leader of Autonomous Republic of Recanesia, which during that time is under the Almendrian rule as an autonomous region, decided to call for the Almendrian citizens to rise against Tizian, the supreme leader of Almendria who's during that time is viewed as a tyrant. Abu Muhammad then established a militant group called Recanesian Freedom Fighters Front Brigade (RFFFB), a separatist group calling out for the independence of Recanesia. The uprising has caused more militias to be formed. But in the end, the RFFFB won the war in Recanesia during an in-real life military operation, making it an independent country yet lost in overthrowing Tizian and failed in establishing a new Almendrian government. The war ended on July 17, 2021. Marking the end of the revolution.

Activities and Pan-Islamist efforts

In September 2021, inspired by the concept of creating a Pan-Islamist group within the micronational world, Abu Muhammad founded the Global Islamic Union (GIU), a Pan-Islamist political party aimed at unifying Islamic micronational entities. However, the GIU disbanded within two months. Subsequently, Abu Muhammad established an Islamic militant group named Jabhat al-Jihad al-Islamiyyah (JJI), which operated as a political party in both the Sultanate of Unova and the Republic of Olov. The JJI sought to extend its influence within the Muslim community, primarily targeting Sunnis due to the organization's denominational affiliation. Despite limited success in expanding its reach, Abu Muhammad continued to expand its influence more.

The JJI was later rebranded as the Micronations Islamic Movement (MIM). The MIM, also known as the Micronational Islamic Party in Olov, was banned following escalating tensions between Olovian president Saleh A.H, who was secular at that time, and Abu Muhammad.

On February 26, 2023, Abu Muhammad reformed the militant group under the new name Jabhat al-Tawheed wal Muwahideen (JTM). This reformation occurred after Sultan Orzan, a high-ranking member of JTM, was expelled from the organization for converting from Sunni Islam to Shi'ism. Abu Muhammad only became aware of Sultan Orzan's conversion during the insurgency in Ondernaming.

In response, Abu Muhammad called upon Sunni Muslims in Qardasha to declare a holy war and incite a revolution against the Islamic Sultanate of Qardasha. With the assistance of Ibn Abdul Rahman, a Sunni citizen of Qardasha, Abu Muhammad recruited several insurgents to oppose the government. He also dispatched Abu Umar al-Mujahid, a prominent JTM member, to raid and potentially disrupt the Qardashan server, which hosted over 200 members. During this period, Sultan Orzan was unaware that Abu Muhammad played a key role in the revolutionary insurgency.

On April 17, 2023, Khilafatul Islam Wal Tawheed, a faction that had recently split from Jabhat Al-Tawheed Wal Muwahideen, accidentally raided the Greater Russian Discord server. This incident led the Conservative Creek Republic (CCR) to declare war on the rebel forces of Qardasha. Subsequently, the CCR aligned itself with the Sultanate of Qardasha in the Third Qardaishan Fitnah. However,

In late 2023, tensions between the Islamic Republic of Olov and Katibat Ansar al-Mu'minin were resolved peacefully when Olovian president Saleh A.H reverted to Sunni Islam after a period of agnosticism.

On June 5, 2024, Katibat Ansar al-Mu'minin became involved in the Ojan Crisis, supporting the Olovian central-government against Phojam 21, a Christian-led gang. Olovian president Saleh A.H expressed gratitude for their support.
