Legal Issues
Japitt Defence Solutions has been the subject of many investigations by Australian authorities for both the illegal acquisition of firearms and military grade weapons, as well as the criminal development and testing of their own weapon systems, including the damages caused by testing the equipment in public or exposed environments, particularly Johnston's Creek. No arrests have been made but assets have been frozen.
JDS is also under investigation for allegedly establishing and using shell companies to launder money and tumble crypto currency under Japitt Group. No legal action has been taken as of 2023.
