The Isambard Gazette is the official government gazette of the Serene Beaconite Republic. The Gazette is released monthly, coinciding with the release of results of Ballots of the Grand Forum. It is generally released as a PDF file, though one copy is printed for archival purposes. The Isambard Gazette is published by the Gazette Corporation, a corporation founded by a Charter of the Grand Forum on 9 June 2018. The Charter establishes the Gazette Corporation's publications as the official journal of record of the Serene Beaconite Republic.
History
The Isambard Gazette succeeds the Beacon City Media Corporation as the primary government news source in the Beaconite nation. During the time of the Principality of Beacon City, the Beacon City Media Corporation published Hansard, an account of the full minutes of each meeting of the Beaconite Municipal Assembly. With the foundation of the Serene Beaconite Republic, the new structure did not allow for meetings and therefore for minutes, so the Isambard Gazette was founded, instead publishing all voting results and in fact all government decisions.
